NEW OFFICERS , ARE ELECTED BY LIONS CLUB Deal Mendenhall Named Cub President To Succeed V. Castleton Deal Mendenhall, local contrac-tar, contrac-tar, has been elected president of the Springville Lions club to succeed suc-ceed Vernon Castleton, it was announced an-nounced following the club meeting meet-ing on Wednesday evening of the past' week. Amasa Rowland will fill the office of-fice of Lion tamer, and tail twister twis-ter position will be filled by Loyd Bird. J. Emmett Bird and Bill Kapp were elected directors of the club. Installation of the new officers will take place July 14. Patrolman Clark of Provo addressed ad-dressed the meeting on "Safety." He was introduced by Albert Snyder, Sny-der, chairman of the club safety committee.
