To Honor Newlyweds Announcement is made lliis week of the marriage of Miss Anna Mae Bird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bird of Manleton, and Rex Wardle. son nf Mr r,A James Wardle of SpringviUe. The marriage was an event of August 29 and took place in Prove Pro-ve Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of the SpringviUe high school. He was recently given his discharge after serving more than two years in the navy. Complimenting the young couple, several parties are planned plan-ned among which is an informal dance to be given at the Mapleton amusement hall on Friday evening. eve-ning. The couple are making their home in SpringviUe for the present pres-ent and plan to go soon to Fish Lake, where he is employed. : "J- I AMITY CLUB SPENDS EVENING SEWING Mrs. Gregg Crandall has hostess hos-tess to members of the 'Amity Club at an enjoyable meeting at her home on Thursday evening. The evening was spent sewing and a tasty lunch was served.
