Show Springville Friends Send Message To President, Mrs. Truman Possibly no one in Springville was more thrilled over the results re-sults of the election than were Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Brannon of 445 East Swenson Ave., who early Wednesday morning had sent their telegram to their personal friends, President and Mrs. Harry S. Truman, congratulating con-gratulating them on the election elec-tion and thanking them again for the ride they nau w.i.. on the "Victory Train" when it passed through Utah several weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Brannon have a special invitation to be the personal guests of the President and Mrs- Truman at the Whrte House in March, and are making mak-ing big plans for the occasion, Mrs. Brannon said .Wednesday. "We expect to visit the President Presi-dent and Mrs. Truman at the White House, and to be with them at the reunion of the bat terTin which the President and Mn Brannon served in Wo, War H, at Kansas City on March 17." |
