Show Evening of Music Heard At Club Pari Passu Club members were entertained with a history of the life of Victor Herbert given by Mrs. Mary Bird, when they met at the home of Mrs. Max Sumsion Sum-sion for an evening of music, Friday. Fri-day. Mrs. Bird was assisted in the evening's program by Mrs.' Mary Bradford who gave vocal numbers; num-bers; by Gordon Childs who rendered ren-dered violin music and by Golden Gold-en Hanson, who gave vocal numbers. num-bers. Mrs. Bradford and Mr. Hanson Han-son also gave vocal duets, all music by the famous composer. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. Harold Jordan, who led in a discussion of the progress of the club's welfare project. The previous Friday, the ladies met at the home of Mrs. Francis Hazel Ha-zel to mend and sew buttons on clothing which had been contributed contrib-uted to the club for their program. pro-gram. The evening's entertainment was preceded by a nicely arranged arrang-ed tray luncheon. The hostess had as her guests Mrs. Wm. M. Wad-doups Wad-doups of Salt Lake City, Mrs. F. C. Packard, and Mrs. Phillip Carmichael. |
