Show UNION PROTESTS VOTE AT LOCAL CONTRACTING FIRM International Association of Machinists, Ma-chinists, local 1066, which bowed Fridal to local 3, Operating Engineers, Engin-eers, AFL, in an elective contest to determine which should be bargaining agent at the Strong Construction Co., Springville, will formally protest the election to the San Francisco'office of the Ne-tional Ne-tional Labor Relations board. Basis of the protest is a claim that seven of the 18 men casting cast-ing ballots were ineligible to vote since they should be represented by the AFL union, according to H B Egbert, I A M business manager. man-ager.
