Show CULTURAL ARTS CLUB ELECTS OFFICERS The Cultural Arts club at their annual birthday party last Wednesday Wed-nesday ' evening at the home of Mrs. Verl Whiting, elected Mrs. Earl Child president for the coming com-ing year with Mrs. Owen Lamb-son, Lamb-son, vice-president; Mrs. Blaine Clyde, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. Woodrow Fillmore, program chairman, Mrs. Thayne Laney, reporter. re-porter. A lovely birthday theme was carried out during the party with a pretty cake decorated with candles can-dles and Spring flowers being used as decorations. A nicely arranged luncheon was served early in the evening at small tables and later, progressive bridge and 500 were features of entertainment. Prizes for the games were won by Mrs. Helen Bird for 500 and Mrs. Dorothy Christensen for bridge. As the twenty-two club members mem-bers and guests left the party, each was presented with a gift from the club, marking the sixth anniversary of the organization. Mrs. Clista Thomas of Provo was a special guest. The next meeting was announced announc-ed for April 3, to be held at the home of Mrs. Woodrow Fillmore, when Miss Nell Matley, elementary elemen-tary grade school supervisor, of Spanish Fork, will talk on children's chil-dren's books. |
