Show Lincoln School Holds PTA Meet Mrs. Hazel Erockbank Bowen of Spanish Fork was the principal speaker for the Lincoln school PTA meeting held this week. Her remarks were centered around what could bo done in the home to cooperate with the teachers in getting the children to put forth their best efforts. She suggested methods of eaching handicapped children how to care for themselves, them-selves, and urged the parents to see that their children were physically prepared for the classrooms class-rooms by having proper diet and rest. Frank Patten, principal of the school, told of the repairs which had been made on the building during the summer months, and touched on some of the problems of the school. Mrs. Blaine Thorpe, PTA president, presi-dent, was in charge of the meeting. meet-ing. Mrs. Delia' Smith, PTA program chairman, and Mrs. Minerva Callahan Calla-han were in charge of arrangements arrange-ments for the meeting. Also assisting as-sisting were the other officers with Mrs. Thorpe, including Mrs. Cornell Cor-nell Jessee, first vice - president; Frank Patten, second vice-president, and Mrs. Blaine Clyde, secretary secre-tary and treasurer. |
