Mrs. Lula Peery of Salt Lake City visited with friends here early ear-ly in the week. Mrs. Rozina Johnson of Barnwell, Barn-well, Can., is visiting with her son, Gam H. Johnson, and family. Mrs. Johnson proudly states that she has eighteen grandsons serving in the various armies fighting the Axis. Some are in the Canadian army, others in the English, also the Scotch, and the United States. Mrs. Johnson, who is 81, arrived here from California, where she had spent a short time with relatives. rela-tives. She plans to return to Canada Can-ada soon. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Radcliff and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson recently arrived here from Phila. delphia, Pa., and plan to make their home in Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Weight were in Salt Lake City early this week to see their son Paul off for the Navy. They also visited relatives rela-tives and friends there. Lt. Keith S. Boyer of Washington Washing-ton visited early this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Selvoy J. Boyer. |
