Show P&Uanal Pasicuyi&pUl Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hill of Payson and Richard Jones of St. George, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Weight the past week. Louise Long and her brother, Kenneth Long, have spent the past two weeks at Walnut Creek, Cal., guests of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dalby. Mrs. Melba Pennington has spent the past few days with her daughter Venice and other relatives rela-tives in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Thomas, and daughter Nell Anna of Culver Cul-ver City, Calif., are spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rowland and other relatives and friends here. Mrs. James A. Hardy of Los Angeles, Calif., has spent three weeks with her sister, Mrs. Roy Cates and family and other relatives rela-tives and friends in Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Amasia Rowland and daughter Mary Louise visited her brother, Dr. Myron Crandall, and family in Salt Lake City the past week. Vera Bartholomew, stationed with the WAVES in San Diego, Calif., is spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bartholomew, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. W. B. Dumus and family of Milford visited the past week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs- Burdell Paxman and other relatives and friends in SpringviUe. Spring-viUe. Beverly Bird, employed in Salt Lake City, visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Bird, and other relatives. Mrs. Allan Stewart, the former Dorothy Weight, has returned to her home here from Camp Claiborne, Clai-borne, La., where she has been visiting her husband for several weeks. 1 Joan Condie of Salt Lake City spent a few days of the past week with her grandmother, Mrs. S. L. Mendenhall, Sr. Mrs. Lucille Alleman and son Frank are spending two weeks with their husband and father, Harry Alleman, stationed at Camp Pen-alton, Pen-alton, Calif. They will also visit with her brothers, Lyman and Milan Metcalf, and families at Burbank, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clements recently re-cently returned from an enjoyable trip to California where they visited vis-ited her son Reed who is stationed with the Navy at San Diego. They also visited relatives in Los Angeles. Ange-les. Lela Rae Thorpe and Joye Thorpe spent the past week at Delta, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Bishop and a sister, Mrs. Glen Seal and husband. Joan Harrison of Logan visited her grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Loynds, and other relatives here. Mrs. Christine Bird came from Magna the past week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bird, and other relatives and friends in SpringviUe. Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Harper and son of Long Beach, Calif., are visiting at the home of Mrs. Harper's Harp-er's mother, Mrs. Jonena Fullmer, and with other relatives and friends in SpringviUe. Mrs. Agnes A. Eismann and Mr. and Mrs. Orval Singleton of Provo, went to Richfield last Friday Fri-day where they attended the American Legion and Auxiliary convention held there Friday and Saturday, returning home Sunday. While in Richfield, they were the guests of Mrs. Rula Fuellenbach, publisher and owner of the Richfield Rich-field Reaper. V Mrs. A. C. Lambert, St. George, visited her daughter, Mrs. Arvil Bird and family here, enroute to yisit relatives and friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jenkins and son of Washington, D. C, have returned to their home after visiting visit-ing his mother, Mrs. Annie Porter and other relatives in Salt Lake City. During their stay here they also spent a few days at Yellowstone Yellow-stone park. Mrs. Margaret Jones has returned re-turned to her home in Tooele after spending a few days with relatives rela-tives and friends here. Mrs Mae Huntington spent a few days of the past week visiting relatives and friends in Idaho. Mrs. Belle Childs has returned to her home after spending several weeks with her daughter, Louise C. Watts, and husband at Seattle, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Clark and daughter Janice and her son and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Davis are spending a few days' vacation at Strawberry. |
