Show BEAUT1FICATI0N CONTEST NOW UNDERWAY Time Limit Extended From April 30 To Saturday, May 18 Time limit for the paint-up, fix - up, contest now under way has Been extended to May 18 because be-cause of increased interest and the desire of many people to participate partici-pate that have not been able to up to now. The contest is being sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, Junior Chamber of Commerce, and the Kiwanis club, and is in line with a county, state, and national movement. In this state, communities communi-ties have been requested to beautify beau-tify in a permanent way as well as temporary in order to prepare for the State Centennial. To enter the contest, those who are interested may still obtain entry en-try blanks from any of the local paint stores, after which a photograph photo-graph of the premises to be improved im-proved will be taken both before and after the period allowed as positive proof of the improvement changes made. Prizes of $15 for first, $10 for second, and $5 for third, are offered, of-fered, and the contest will be judged by A. Y. Wheeler, Charles Boyer and Tom Smith. The contest is being directed under the chairmanship of Ted Haymond, chairman of the Junior Chamber Beautification committee. commit-tee.
