Show MRS. BARTLETT PASSES AWAY Malinda Catherine Bartlett, 85, died at her home, 726 East Center Tuesday evening of ailments incident in-cident to age. She was born in Tennessee, January 24, 1855, a daughter of Elijah and Melissa Johnson, and came to Utah thirty-nine years ago. She settled in Pleasant Grove, moving to Springville nine years ago. She was married to Columbus Bartlett, August 22, 1882 in Tennessee. Ten-nessee. Mr. Bartlet died about five years ago. She was a member of the Christian Christ-ian Science church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Edward Bartlett, Bart-lett, Provo; Ira Bartlett, Salt Lake City; Henry Bartlett, Po-catello; Po-catello; Mrs. Mary Jackson, Springville; and Mrs. Roxie Nor-ris Nor-ris of Honeygrove, Texas; twenty-three twenty-three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced an-nounced later under the direction of the Deseret Mortuary. |
