Show Selvoy Boyer Appointed State Coordinator OFFICIAL WILL WORK UNDER NEWLY CREATED AGRICULTURAL GROUP SPECIAL PROGRAM DRAFTED FOR 1940 Selvoy J. Boyer, Democratic member of the Utah house of representatives, was appointed Thursday, by the State Board of Agriculture, as state coordinator coordin-ator of agricultural activities at a salary "Not to exceed $200 a month." APPOINTED The appointment is effective February 20. Mr. Boyer will work under the recently created state agricultural committee, of which Dr. Elmer G. Peterson, president of the Utah State Agricultural college is Chairman. Mr. Boyer will coordinate the activities of all agricultural groups in carrying out a program drafted by a special committee. Members of the special committee are Dr. Peterson, David F. Smith, state commissioner of agriculture, and Ward C Holbrook, president of the Utah State Farm Bureau federation. The board, meeting in the cap-itol, cap-itol, set aside $5,000 from the department of agriculture appropriation appro-priation to pay the salary and expenses of the coordinator. Mr. Boyer is a farmer, and member of the farm bureau, the Utah State Crop Investment association as-sociation and the board of the Springville-Mapleton association of the National Farm Loan association. as-sociation.
