Show DON ASHCRAFT SERVICES HELD In honor of Don O. Ashcraft, who died Wednesdav morning at his home, many high tributes were given during the course of remarks re-marks made by speakers James Simkins, Wm. Armstrong, Selvoy Boyer, and C. G. Salisbury, at funeral services Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Third Ward. Bishop G. C. Laney conducted the services. Musical numbers included in-cluded a vocal duet, "I Come to I Thee," by Marge Bird and Evelyn Boyer; solo, "My Faith in Thee," Evelyn Boyer; duet, "Sunset," I Glenn Holley and Freeman Bird. The Invocation was offered by Lindsay Parker, and the benediction bene-diction by Bert Sumsion. A. B. Gore dedicated the grave. Interment was in the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Ashcraft was born August 18, 1874 at Provo, Utah, son of James Eli Ashcraft and Lavrine E. Fullmer. He married Alice ft Wordsworth, March 29, 1898 in L the Salt Lake Temple, and five children were born to them. He was a high priest and took an active part in the church. Besides his widow, he is survived sur-vived by the following sons and daughters, Orean and Lloyd of i Springville, Mrs. Ernest Whiting of Mapleton, Ruel and Elden of San Francisco, California. Eight grandchildren, a brother Francis, ; an4 a sister, Mrs. Ada Wilson of Ls Angeles, California. |
