ARDILLA PERRY As I stood in my front yard this morning and watched the sun come up, In silence I prayed that nothing would come to spoil, destroy, 1 or disrupt ' j This beautiful handiwork of our creator, who gave us this 1 , village of ours, At the foot of this grand old mountain, I could stand and enjoy its beauty for hours. v I If I could express my appreciation, tell my Father, who made it all, just hoiv I feel knoiv I 'can, in my weak way, thank Him for this blessing tonight when I kneel 1 I To pray for all His' children and especially for those across 1 1 the sea tonight, I That when this same beautiful sun comes up tomorrow, for them it will shine more bright. , 1 That they, too, may thank Him for the sun that comes up and 1 . shines for all each day.
