Show Temple Ceremony Unites Young Couple THE VARIETY CLUB WAS ENTERTAINED at the home of Mrs. G. L. Johnson John-son on Friday evening. Luncheon was served and progressive "500" was played, with prizes for the games won by Mrs. G. N. Jones, Mrs. M. D. Richmond, Mrs. S. Oakley, and Mrs. Dean Loose. Other members and guests attending at-tending were Mrs. D. Oakley, Mrs. O. W. Lopez, Mrs. Willard Ostlund, Springville; Mrs. LaVar Groneman, Mrs. Effie Olsen, and Mrs. Leslie Bennett of Provo. F. 4-H SEWING CLUB HAS COMPLETED the year's work under the direction of Mrs. Estella Ollerton, and the members feel they have had a successful suc-cessful year. It was the girls' third year of sewing and during the summer they have completed a dress for themselves and a costume cos-tume for a child. Their club work took third place at the Utah county coun-ty fair. Louise Averett, a club member, took first place in the community and in the county health contest and she will enter state competition. competi-tion. Other prize winners were: Elaine Allen, third place for a child's costume; Viola Jean Miner, Louise Averett, first place in Utah county demonstration team; Ruth Hall and Beverly Sumsion, third place as a judging team at the Utah county fair. |
