Show www CAMP SPRING CREEK HONORS MRS. PENNINGTON At a meeting of Camp Spring Creek D. U. P. held Thursday afternoon af-ternoon at the home of Mrs. Wayne Johnson, Mrs. Josephine Pennington was specially honored and in tribute to her Mrs. Clara Boyer wrote a lovely poem which was read by Mrs. Philda Finley during the meeting, and the history his-tory of Mrs. Pennington was given giv-en by Mrs. Kate Mower. The program included a vocal solo by Hannah Rowland, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Betty Sumsion; a piano solo by Sally Duncan; piano solos by Catherine Duncan and Nila Cragun. Also during the meeting, Mrs. Christie Lee, camp captain, gave a talk on the conference and on Brigham Young Day. In remembrance of Mothers Day, each member of the camp answered to roll call with a tribute trib-ute to their mother. Approximately Approximate-ly twenty-five members and five guests were in attendance. Refreshments were served at the close of the meeting by the hostess, Mrs. Anna Johnson, Mrs. Emma Haymond, Mrs. Henrietta Henri-etta J. Harmer and Mrs, Maude Christensen. , . |
