Show u Miss Leola Felix Weds Rex Larsen In Logan Temple Wednesday Night 3 Miss Leola Felix became the hr-de of Rex A. Larsen Wednesday, Wednes-day, July 30, in the Logan tem- PlThey were accompanied by their narents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Felix and Mrs. Harriet Larsen, through the temple ceremonies. Following their marriage, the young couple were guests of honor hon-or at a wedding dinner held at the Bluebird hotel in Logan. The bride was attired in a brown beige ensemble with brown accessories and wore a white orchid. or-chid. She was attended by her sister, Miss Eileen Felix, and Miss Loy Larsen, sister of the groom. The young couple left shortly after the ceremony for a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Bear Lake and Yellowstone Yel-lowstone park. Following their return, re-turn, they will make their home in Springville. Mrs. Larsen is a graduate of the Springville high school. She attended at-tended the U. S. A. C. at Logan and is a graduate nurse of the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City. She has been employed at a local doctor's office for the past year. Mr. Larsen attended Brigham Young university and is a graduate gradu-ate student of the U. S. A. C. at Logan. He has been teaching at Mapleton but will be principal of the Jefferson school in Springville during the coming year. 4-H NEEDLE AND THREAD CLUB MET TUESDAY at the home of the leader, Mrs. Naomi McKee. A special lesson on health was given and the girls sewed on their projects. Attending were Kathleen Peterson, Peter-son, Phyllis Kindred, Shirley Allen, Al-len, Betty Jean Alleman, and Peggy Peg-gy Crandall. 4-C 4-H COOKING CLUB HELD A PARTY FRIDAY afternoon at the home of Mrs. Leona Wilson. . Girls attending were Eudene Diamond, Carol Beardall, Norma Jean Beardall, Renee Johnson, Evelyn Gottfredson, and Beth Averett. Officers were elected as follows: fol-lows: Carol Beardall, president; Eudene Diamond, vice-president; Evelyn Gottfredson, secretary; and recorder, Eudene Diamond. The next meeting will be held at Spanish Fork in the form of a skating party and melon bust Wednesday, July 30, at 6:30 p. m. SEAMSTRESS 4-H CLUB MET AT THE CITY PARK Wednesday, July 23. A regular meeting was conducted under the direction of the president. The next meeting will be held Wednesday at 10 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Harriet Strong. |
