Boyer has spent the past few days with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. F. X. McCarthy, the for: mer June Boyer and husband and baby, at San Francisco, Calif. Dell Leichty, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Leichty, has been spending spend-ing a few days here from California, Califor-nia, where he has been engaged in defense work. He came home to go into the Armed Forces. Mrs. Harry Robey of San Jose, Calif., has returned to her home following a visit here with Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Jenkins, Mrs. Herman McCune, Marian Jenkins and John C. Painter, all of Nephi, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Sanford. Sgt. Joseph Olsen of Camp Shelby, Shel-by, Miss., spent a few days of the past week on- a furlough with his wife, the former Louise Childs, and baby daughter here, and with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Olsen, in Salt Lake City. Lt.1 Earl S. Groesbeck and family fam-ily arrived here the past week from San Bernardino, Cal., where he has been stationed in the office of-fice of the Engineers' Supply company. com-pany. He has now been transferred trans-ferred to Claiborne, La. Mark Eddington, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Eddington, left re-' re-' cently for pre-flight training in the Navy Air Corps. He is stationed sta-tioned at San Luis Obispo, Calif. Mrs. James Pierce returned recently re-cently from Walla Walla, Wash., where she visited her sister, Mrs. Elsie Horton, whom she had not seen for about thirty-five years. Mrs. Virl Harrison, the former Dorothy Dixon, and Mrs. Helvi Kaellner came from Anniston, Ala., the past week and were guests for several days of Lt. Harrison's Har-rison's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harrison, of this city. They were enroute to Indio, Cal., where their husbands are in desert training. Lt. Harrison, stationed with the Ordnance Ammunition division, was recently promoted from second sec-ond to first lieutenant. Dr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Pace (Pauline Clyde) and baby have gone to Pensacola, Fla. He has been appointed flight surgeon in the U. S. Navy. They had just returned to California from a visit here when he received his appointment. appoint-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Isom (Marie Rigtrup) were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C.
