Show DANCE STUDENTS GIVE PROGRAM One of the most entertaining programs of its kind given here this season, was presented by the Modern Dance club of the High school under direction of Venice W. Springmeyer at the high school auditorium, Wednesday evening. A large audience comprised of patrons and friends witnessed the program, many numbers of which were in costume. The various numbers num-bers were presented in excellent manner, portraying much time and effort spent in preparation and rehearsal. The patriotic theme of the entertainment was one of the attractive features. In addition to the large group of fine entertainers there was a large crew of committee members who assisted Mrs. Springmeyer with the program. Music for the affair was under the direction of Lucille Phillips; programs, Aileen Hales; advertising, advertis-ing, Shirley Johnson, Beverly Allan; Al-lan; script, Joyce Whiting; staging, stag-ing, Phyllis Reynolds; lighting, Doyne Jenkins; make-up, Nana Lee Reynolds; costumes, Annalee Walker, Madge Rolfe, Shirley Clark, Maryn Davis, Ruth Hall, Mercedes Collett; operation of fights, David Salisbury, James Neighbors; pianists, Carol Clyde, Robert Thorn; singers, Bill Shimizu, Shimi-zu, Owen Fullmer, Merlin Fox, Scott Beardall, Kay Rusmussen, Eldean Weight, Verl Weight. |
