Show REPORT SHOWS U.S.O. DRIVE GOESOVER TOP Chairman W. R. Eddington of the local U. S. O. drive, received a letter this week from Abe W. Turner Tur-ner of Provo, district chairman of I the drive, expressing appreciation to the committees and people of i Springville for their efforts in se-' curing the quota for the town. He stated that the Columbia Steel and Pipe companies had made generous gener-ous contributions and this would be credited to the Springville quota. A total of $652.96 was collected ; in Springville, and from this was taken $5 for receipt books, making ' a total of $647.96 collected. This1 amount, added to late contribu-1 tions, will place Springville over the top in the drive. The city also is one of the first in the district to go over the top. ; Chairman Eddington also expressed ex-pressed appreciation to the people t and workers for their efforts and stated that the drive was prac-1 tically completed by June 15, and, by July. 4 the entire program had. been put over. |
