Show Nelda Johnson Oral Franson Nuptial Plans Are Announced -A MILADY CLUB MEMBERS HAVE PARTY WEDNESDAY At a party for members of the Milady club held Wednesday at Margaret Wing's home, Olive Olsen, Ol-sen, Berniece Beardall, Ida May-cock, May-cock, Norma Bird, Inez Chader, Norma Holmes, Mabel Adams, and Betty Rae Frazier were special guests. Luncheon was served to those present following a delightful time spent sewing and conversing. Members present were Marva Averett, Thelma Beardall, Ellen Erdmann, Muriel Curtis, Bea Beardall, Bear-dall, Grace Allan, Dorthella Dunk-ley, Dunk-ley, Delia Whitehead, and Florence Flor-ence Beardall. CHARIVHAN LONG FETED AT BIRTHDAY PARTY Miss Charmian Long was honor hon-or guest at a birthday party this week at her home on the occasion of her fifth birthday. Games were played and refreshments refresh-ments served from a table centered center-ed with a beautifully decorated birthday cake topped with five candles according to a yellow and blue color scheme. Guests attending were Janice Weight, Conda Weght, Colene Childs, Sharlene Best, Colette Pal-freyman, Pal-freyman, Lois Bush, Sarah Beth Bush, David Boyer, David Long, Jeanene Long, Sharlene Newman, Boyd Newman, and Dale Long. AD LIBITUM CLUB IS ENTERTAINED Mrs. Berniece Angell was hostess hos-tess to members of the Ad Libitum club Monday evening at Pleasant Grove. Following the serving of a hot luncheon, bridge was played, with the high score prize being won by Donna Swenson. Members attending were Aileen McKenzie, Ida Packard, Elaine Crandall, Evelyn Jordan, Wanda Peay, Hortense Harward, Dona Collins, Lola Smith, Helen Rowland, Row-land, Naomi Peirce, and the hostess. hos-tess. It needs a half a dozen well placed assassinations. r Announcement was made this week of the engagement of Miss Nelda Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Johnson, to Oral Franson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eleff Franson of Oakley. The marriage is planned to take place February 19 in the Salt Lake temple. A recepton and other parties are being planned in honor of the popular young couple here. Miss Johnson is a graduate of the Brigham Young university, and has been teaching school for the past two years at Kamas and Oakley. Mr. Franson also attended the Brigham Young university. The young couple plan to make their home in Oakley. HOME CULTURE CLUB ENTERTAINS HUSBANDS At the Edna Mae TIedquist home in Provo, Home Culture club members entertained their husbands hus-bands at a delightful party held Friday night, with Mrs. Wilford Blanchard, Mrs. Hugh A. Baxter, Mrs. G. B. Orton, and Mrs. Almah Miner acting as hostesses. Dinner was served from a long table decorated with hearts according ac-cording to the Valentine theme. Mrs. W. R. Eddlngton, club president, pres-ident, acted as toastmaster. Prizes for the evening's games went to Almah Miner for 500, to Maurice Anderson for contract bridge, and the ladles' draw prize went to Mrs. Howard Thorpe. Members and their guests attending at-tending were as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh A. Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Beardall, Mr. and Mrs. M. W.
