Show Where la Prosperity? Times are still hard in these United States. We only have three times as niany automobiles as all the rest of the world put together. We have one auto for every 4.5 persons. England and France have one for every 20 persons; Germany, one for every 49 persons; per-sons; Italy, one for every 104; Japan,, one for every 472, and since the war the armies have taken tak-en over many of these. W& have only one-third of all the movie theatres in the world (and one-half one-half of the world's attendance) and we have only one-half of the world's 35,000,000 telephones. Really it's hard to take, isn't It? |
