Show Springville Federated Womens Clubs Make Plans For Annual Art Tea s f'eiv Coiffure for Ikarl-SIiape Face Fine Program At Mapleton D. U. P. A lesson on, "The History of Castle Valley," given at the meeting meet-ing of the Mapleton DUP last Thursday afternoon, proved interesting. inter-esting. The meeting was conducted at the home of Mrs. Alga Mackley with Mrs. Inez Harmer, Mrs. Phoebe Parry and Mrs. Arlena Holley, assisting hostesses. Mrs. Mackley gave the history of her father, Orin Elias Harmer. The lesson was given by Mrs. Alice Johnson. Other numbers on the program included, a piano solo by Mrs. Norma Cox; a duet, Mrs. Birdie Nielson and her sister, Mrs. Guymon; a vocal solo, Mrs. Senate Sen-ate Mendenhall, composed by her brother; At the close of the meeting, tasty refreshments were served to thirty one members and two guests. Supper will be served at 7 p.m., and the program is set for 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Amanda Binks of Mapleton is confuted to the Provo hospital with a serious illness. |
