Show Mothers Study Club At Patriotic Program A delightfully entertaining program in keeping with George Washington's birthday was enjoyed by Mothers Study club members when they were guests of Mrs. Ella Reynolds at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, the J. Y. Beam-son's, Beam-son's, Friday afternoon of last week. Mrs. Zola Gogarty, club president, pres-ident, presided and after the reading of the club collect by Mrs. Hilda Cherrington, Mrs. Philda Finley reported on the Women's Legislative Council meeting and the club meeting was then turned over to Mrs. Reynolds. A color guessing game; verses ver-ses read by Mrs. Mae Huntington; Hunting-ton; group singing of America; a poem by Mrs. Reynolds and a vocal solo, "Flag Without a Stain," by Mrs. Jennie Sanford, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Eliza Jane Giles added up to a delightful afternoon for the members each of whom answered an-swered roll call with a thought from the life of George Washington. Wash-ington. Eighteen club members were in attendance and three guests including Mrs. Hazel Loewen-stein Loewen-stein of Terre Haute, Ind., Mrs. Giles and Mrs. Bearnson, the latter assisting her mother with the lunch served at the close of the meeting. |
