Peterson are this week announcing the engagement en-gagement of her. daughter, Miss Marie Averett, to William P. (Billie) Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Bird also of Springville. The wedding is to be a mid-winter event to take place in January Jan-uary in the Salt Lake Temple. The pretty bride-to-be is a graduate of the Springville high school and Seminary and attended the BYU. She is presently employed em-ployed at the bank. v Billie graduated also from the LDS Seminary and the high school where he was prominent in athletics. He is enrolled in his sophomore year at the Brigham Young University.
