Show Mary Smart reported on the pioneer pion-eer library in Provo. To conclude the gathering, dainty dain-ty refreshments were served by hostesses Clara Boyer, Maud Christensen, Estella Straw, Lottie Black of Provo and Mrs. Victora Gore. Attending the meeting were 23 members and six visitors the latter including, Mrs. Veloy Bailey, Mrs. Ethel Houtz, Mrs. J. A. Leslie, Mrs. Margaret Campbell, Mrs. Vera Sumsion. Camp Spring Creek D. U. P. Holds Meet A meeting of the DUP Camp Spring Creek was conducted last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Clara Boyer, with Captain EVa Kelsey in charge. The opening open-ing prayer by Chaplain Ivy Anderson Ander-son was followed by community singing led by Mrs. Erma Brailsford, Brails-ford, accompanied by Mrs. Josephine Jos-ephine Duncan. Captain Kelsey reported re-ported on the county meeting held in Provo February 3rd. A history of George Peirce Billings Bill-ings was given by a granddaughter, granddaugh-ter, Mrs. Erma Brailsford, followed follow-ed by a solo by Mrs. Brailsford. Mrs. Edna Nielson gave an interesting inter-esting lesson on "Explorations in the Rocky Mountain West." Mrs. |
