Show Property Owners Urged to Pay Cemetery Upkeep City Councilman Don Watts is this week reminding townspeople of their responsibility in maintaining maintain-ing the Springviile cemeteries. There are some property owners, he points out, who have not paid their up-keep fee on their respective respec-tive lots and thesei lots cannot be sprinkled as result here and there through the cemeteries, there are lots which are dry and uncared for. This condition detracts from the general appearance of the cemeter. City caretakers of the cemetery lots have had instructions to beautify beau-tify the burial places and to care for them, but those which have not paid for perpetual or annual care cannot expect to have improvements im-provements maintained on their property. Cemetery lost are no longer sold without perpetual care and this ruling is expected to aid in the upkeep up-keep and appearance of. the cemetery ceme-tery as a whole. However there are many who have not paid and plans are now underway to have everyone make arrangements for perpetual care of the cemetery lots, so that the entire grounds can be kept up. |
