"Once In a Blue Moon," is the title of an opera to be presented by the music department of the high school under the direction of J. K. Booth. It is a musical romance in three acts. The high school play, "Golden Days", is to be presented in the Opera House Wednesday evening, February 10. Miss Melba Condie is director and tickets may be secured se-cured at Packard's Confectionary. The cast includes: Howard May-cock, May-cock, Howard McKcnzie, Loman Hutchings, David Friel, Eldon Ashcraft, Maurine Olsen, Bessie Sutherland, Vera Chader,, Mary Wainwright, Elsie McCurdy, Sara Holley, Lucy Levanger, Margaret Bird. Joseph Allan and Sears Willis, government trapper, came in Sunday Sun-day evening with two mountain lions caught near Nebo Creek eight miles above Thistle. Ronald Flygare, 24, of Springville Spring-ville escaped narrowly from death Saturday morning when a bullet from the gun of Lyman Haymond, Springville night watchman, struck his head a glancing blow and inflicted in-flicted a deep scalp wound. Flygare Fly-gare and his companion, Myron Harmer of Provo, surprised by Haymond, who thought their actions ac-tions near the Phillips Garage suspicious, sus-picious, were attempting to escape es-cape in their car after slugging Haymond with a pinch bar. 15 Years Ago ... A girl's basketball team has been organized at the high school under the management of Miss Fugal.
