Show Officers Warn Dog Poisoners Police Chief H. M. Weight issued is-sued a warning this week to dog poisoners. He mentioned the fact that there is a law which dog poisoners found guilty can be severely sev-erely punished, and stated that every effort is being made to find those persons who recently have put out poison for dogs. The practice is dangerous to children and other individuals who might come in contact with the poison, Chief Weight said, and it is certainly a dangerous manner in which to eliminate dog problems. If dogs become trouble-some, officers of-ficers should be contacted or the owners notified. Poisoners are eventually caught up with. The practice involves certain neighbor- t hoods and these are being watched ' and will continue to be watched. If the practice continues, more drastic steps will be taken to find the guilty person or persons, Chief Weight said. |
