Show 'Jefferson School PTA Conducts Interesting Meet Parents and teachers of the Jefferson school heard Hazel Brockbank B o w e n, prominent Spanish Fork educator, stress the responsibilities of parents to the health, happiness and well-being of their children, at a PTA meeting held last week. Mrs. Bowen pointed point-ed out that the children are the most important of all and recognition re-cognition of this fact would help to guide the actions of both parents and teachers when dealing with children. Musical numbers were furnished for the program by the girls of the third grade, a financial report was given by Mrs. Ralph Phillips, PTA secretary. Mrs. Champ Allen, Al-len, vice-president, told of the significance of Founders Day recently re-cently observed by PTA organizations organiza-tions all over the country. Comments Com-ments were also given by the school principal, Wendell Nielson. Mrs. Arvil Ence was in charge of the program and Mrs. Arthur Bo-yer Bo-yer presided at the meeting. Refreshments were sold to add to the fund for buying a film projector. pro-jector. The third grade was awarded the prize for having the most parents in attendance. |
