Show Interesting Play Reviewed at Club A delightful evening's program was furnished Ladies Literary club members and a number of guests Thursday of last week when members Madge Thorn, Minnie Groesbeck and Golden Johnson were hostesses at the home of Mrs. A. O. Thorn. Mrs. Jessie J. Dalton gave a review of the play, "Anne of One Thousand Days," by Maxwell Anderson, An-derson, which was especially enjoyable. en-joyable. Miss Betty Hoover and Louie Thorn gave two vocal duets, accompanied by Mrs. Alberta Hoover. The program was in charge of President Helen Anderson and was preceded by a nicely arranged tray luncheon served to nineteen club members. Mrs. Milton Harrison, Mrs. Hugh Roylance, Mrs. Bryce Thorn, Mrs. Robert Thorn, Mrs. Hattie Williams, Mrs. A. B. Swallow Swal-low of Ely, Nev., Mrs. Howard Maycock and Mrs. W. G. Biesing-er, Biesing-er, were special guests , the latter two being former members of the club. Karen Johnson, daughter of Mrs. Golden Johnson also assisted in the serving. |
