Show H. II. S. HOOP TEAM GUESTS OF LIONS Members of the 1940 Bingham high school basketball team, Coach Warren Allsop, Band Instructor In-structor Joel Jensen and Time Keeper Irvin Stillman were guests of Bingham Canyon Lions at Sturm's cafe Tuesday evening. Development of sportsmanship sportsman-ship as well as skill as basketball players is the aim of a good coach in teaching the game, Mr. Allsop said in his talk. Flayers on the B.H.S. team praised Coach Allsop in their remarks. Players present were Kenneth Reynolds, Ernest Sheen, Stanley Stan-ley Long, Gordon Jensen, Sergio Ser-gio Alvarez, Frank Nelson, Joe Badovinatz, Kenneth Davis, Ted Camp and Dee Carpenter, athletic ath-letic manager. Because of illness Frank Callen was unable to at-I at-I tend. Several Lions club members attended a Zone dance sponsored sponsor-ed by Murray Lions last evening at the Murray high school. F. T. Duvall and James E. Powell were in charge. Members of the Bingham club plan an airplane sightseeing tour over Bingham Canyon Sunday, April 14. Next regular meeting of the club will be at the Italian-French Italian-French cafe Tuesday, April 16, at 6:45 p.m. , |
