Show Funeral Services Held in SLC for Former Resident Funeral services were conducted in Salt Lake City the past week for Thomas Roy Evan, 67, a native na-tive of Springville, who died Monday Mon-day at his home in Salt Lake. Born November 15, 1888 in Springville, he was a son of Charles Char-les D. and Annabelle Tew Evans. He taught school for a number of years in grades and in high school in various places in Utah. He married Leah Ross, September Septem-ber 8, 1921, in the Salt Lake Temple. Tem-ple. He was an active member of the LDS church. Surviving besides his wife, are two daughters: Mrs. Curtis M. (Margaret) Brouse, Japan; Mrs. Howard (Jean) Cliff, Bountiful; five brothers and two sisters, Wm. H. Evans, Oakland, Calif.; Frank Evans, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Hilton Evans, Moab; Reed Evans, Provo; C. Ray Evans, a twin brother, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Louise Wiscombe, Mapleton; Mrs. Marie Bishop, Salt Lake City. |
