By ; Hv however, the i Stool O SHI" Program Set Up To Help With Trash Fish Control A program to control trash fish in five of Utah's more popular meccas has gotten an early start. Work has been started according to M J. Madsen, under the supervision sup-ervision of W. C. Sorenson at Fish Lake Madsen himself has conducted conduct-ed the preliminary work at Sco-field Sco-field Reservoir. Three other lakes will receive treatment as soon as the water warms up and the trash fish, mainly chub, concentrate. Nav-aio Nav-aio Lake, Strawberry Reservoir and Panguitch Lake will receive attention as soon as the spawning- of chubs gets underway. Some lakes, such as Fish Lake, Panguitch Lake and Scofield Reservoir Res-ervoir peculiarly adapt themselves to the application of poison to kill chubs without endangering other fish. Pine Lake in Garfield county and Lake Canyon in Duchesne county coun-ty have been given complete treatments. Here all the trash |
