Show a 32-foot-wide road of narrow slab concrete. W VV. Clyde Company, Springville, Spring-ville, bid $48,380 to level and smooth out five miles of rough road on V. S. 89 between Alton, Kane County, and Glendale. The same firm also bid $53,923 to eliminate elim-inate visibility-obscuring Nicker-son's Nicker-son's Hill at the southeast approach ap-proach to Price on TJ. S. 6-50. Thomas E. Lamph, Price, bid $17,280 to resurface 1.6 miles of state roadway running through Price and Helper on their Main Streets. Nelson and Birtcher, Salt Lake City contracting firm, bid $32,412 for seal coating 30.6 miles of road between Newcastle, Iron County, and the Nevada state line. Bids Submitted On Improving Roads Eids totaling $246,690 were opened Tuesday afternoon of last week by the State Road Commission Commis-sion for road repair and re-surfacing projects. When the work is undertaken, some of the bad bumps and holes on state highways will be eliminated, elimina-ted, the commission pointed out. Here's how the low bids were submitted: sub-mitted: W. W.
