Show "Full Program Set For Family Reunion July 6-9 Balsam Park in Hobble Creek canyon will be the scene of the Averett-Farnsworth reunion on July 6, 7, 8, and 9, announces President Alma Fullmer. All relatives are asked to bring their weiners and lunch to the big bon-fire program and supper the opening night when square dancing danc-ing will also be featured. Friday, July 7, will be devoted to arranging camp. Sports will be under the direction of Don Rig-by Rig-by and Leo Hone and in the evening eve-ning an amateur program presented presen-ted by the children will be featured. Directing the entertainment are Shirley Childs, Wilda Rigby, Fay Haymond. Saturday at sun-up, there will be be a hike followed by ball games, pitching horseshoe contests, trap shooting and tug-o'-wars, with prizes to be awarded to the winners. win-ners. The major program Sunday evening eve-ning is under the direction of Mrs. Gertrude Clements assisted by Mrs. Afton Barker, Theda Childs, and Noma Thorpe. Arnold Barney Bar-ney will act as master of ceremonies. ceremon-ies. A genealogy meeting and program pro-gram followed by sports will be held on Sunday. An invitation is extended to all members of the family to come prepared to camp the full four days. |
