SALISBURY RETURNS HOME Howard Salsibury, who returned return-ed Thursday from a 30-months j mission in the Eastern states, gave a highly commendable talk on his mission experiences, at a M. I. A. conjoint' meeting in the Fourth ward Sunday night. The Mapleton male chorus furnished a splendid musical program. Receipt of a letter by the Herald, Her-ald, from the mission headquarters,, head-quarters,, expresses the high esteem es-teem in which Howard is held by fellow missionaries and tells of the splendid work which he accomplished ac-complished during his mission. Not only was. his missionary work outstanding, out-standing, but his associations will long be remembered by all whom he met, the letter states. Just before he left to return home he finished a complete outline out-line of "The Life of Christ," for use by the missionaries in a study of the New Testiment. In addition to supervising the radio, genealogy and Sunday school work of the mission, he instituted a course for new missionaries mis-sionaries which is said to be one . .1.- mmonqhlp thillP'S of the most Commendable things in the mission. He presided over a district for some time before being transferred into the office. Too much can not be said of his outstanding success as a missionary mission-ary and a true representative of the progressive spirit of the church which he represents, the mission office reports.
