Practically every business busi-ness concern, civic or religious organization have signified their intention of entering floats. The parade will form near Fourth North street and proceed south to the Jefferson school corner on Eighth South street and return to Fourth North. With the cooperation coop-eration of the state patrol who will assist the local policemen police-men and American Legion a uniform parking system will ne carried out so that all may witness the parade with little jr no inconvenience. Cars will be allowed to park on the various blocks of Main street, with the exception of the jity park block and across the street east on the fire station sta-tion block. Also there will be no cars allowed on the east -side of Second North street due to the fact that the veterans vet-erans will be seated there to witness the parade. The latter arrangement is a new one in Black Hawk parades as previously pre-viously the veterans have rode in the parade and in many instances were unable to see the floats. Exccellent programs are scheduled for forenoon, afternoon after-noon and evening of each day, and will represent the finest talent available from numerous communities throughout the state. Mayor George A. Anderson at the opening program Tuesday at 1:80 p. m. will officially welcome the Black, Hawk veterans and other visitors here and will turn the .ceys of the city over to its guests. Other programs are arranged as follows: Tuesday, 7:30 p. m., Payson; Wednesday, 11 a. m., Heber City; 4:30 o' m, Ephraim; 7:30 p. m., Moroni; Thursday, 10 a. m Prove 1-30 p. m., Richfield; 4:30 p. m. Fountain Green; 7-30 p m Spanish Fork; Friday 10 a. m. Nephi ; 3 p. m. Lehi - 7-30 p m., Fairview. All of the town programs will be held on the city park, with a specially arranged platform and seating capacity for all. During the evening the L. D. S. wards will present en-tertainjnents en-tertainjnents especially for the older people at the Star theater building, on Main street. Every type of entertainment possible has been provided pro-vided for the encampment so that all ages and classes of people may enjoy .themselves to the fullest extent. The boxing and wrestling matches put on here since May, in an effort to raise funds for the Black Hawk encampment en-campment have proven a tremendous success and have featured fea-tured some of the leading men of the state in all field of athletics. Some have come through with clean slates and these with others will be featured in the Black Hawk entertainments. enter-tainments. The cards for the four days should be of the highest type as many of the state's most outstanding characters are standing in readiness to meet anyone who might be selected in their respective field. Some of the men who will appear on the opening card are are Arcade Pierce, Glenn Ostler, Sid Bouch, Max Young, Art Kinder, F. Bring-hurst Bring-hurst and Lewis Petro and others. The bringing together of the two boys Pierce and Ostler are the result of a challenge which Ostler made at the ringside some time ago t6 make amends for two very severe lickings which his brother received while trying to 'onquer Pierce. Renorts from the training camps of each are to the effect that they are in the best condition and both feel assured as-sured that they will come through victorious. Others who will probably be brought in to the fracas are: Jimmie Shaw,, Ncphi, Leon Holman, Seth Edmonds, Fountain Green, Max Fairbanks, Max Sly, Darwin White, Richfield, Clair Tolstrup, Bert Coates, Lloyd Olsen, Gunnison, Gunni-son, Enis Terry, Draper, Neils West, Art Kinder, Abe Gardner, Gard-ner, Roy Burrison, Ernie and Dell Steele of Goshen, Harry Christensen, Centerfield, Woodrow Sheen, Bert Davis, Don Taylor, Salem, Fred Bradford, Spanish Forg, Thirol Bishop, Ray Christensen, CCC camp, Dick Brown, Bird Hickman, Lehi. Athletic carnivals,, considered by many as the most popular "entertainment possible., will be staged each day of the celebration, beginning at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday. The bouts will be arranged, after the first performance, on -an elimination basis, and each is expected to attract its quota of out-of-town and local fans. Dances will be staged at load and nearby halls and appropriate ap-propriate music arranged for all ages and classes of people. Continuous picture shows will also be run for those desiring this form of amusement. Last but not least on the four days program is the mammoth barbecue scheduled for 5 p. m. Friday. Long tables and other facilities are being arranged, at the corner of Main and Center streets, near the fire hall, to accomodate accomo-date the huge throngs expected to participate in this phase of the entertainment. Rows of concessions and a first class carnival will add much to the festive spirit of the occasion. Band concerts will be given at various times during the four days. Anticipating hundreds of campers who will remain here during the encampment, every accomodation possible has been arranged for their comfort. The west portion of the city park will be arranged for campers tents. Lights, water and fuel will be available in addition to hay or straw to fill mattresses. Arrangements for garbage disposal have also been made. . Committeemen will h' in attendance at all times to transport the veterans to various places of amusement, to which they will be admitted free of charge. An information bureau will be constructed at the city park to register all veterans -during the four days. From here they will receive assignments to hoincs where they mav spend the night and will be given breakfast. With committeemen in attendance at all times the bureau bu-reau will be prepared to give, out any information concerning concern-ing the celebration. . ., , , .
