Thorn plan to leave Friday to attend a convention of the Road Builders Build-ers of America association, of which Mr. Thorn is a director. The convention will be held in Cleveland, Ohio, and the couple1 plan to visit numerous places of , interest en route. j Members of the Mothers' study club will be entertained Tuesday, Tues-day, January 18, at 4 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Bell W. Chikls. All are urged to be present. Miss Carol Bird has just returned re-turned from a trip to Mexico City. She returned by way of Los Angeles, Calif., where she visited Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Wills and Mrs. Rhoda Dougall. Mrs. Elfie H. Bagley returned to her home Monday after a three weeks' visit with her niece, Mrs. Tess Hatfiekj, and husband, Dr. Hatfield, of Los Angeles, Cal. While in Los Angeles, Mrs. Bag-ley Bag-ley visited many places of interest in-terest and on New Year's day was an interested spectator at the Rose parade in PasauSna. Over the week end she was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wilcox Wil-cox of Boulder City. Mr. Wilcox is one of the foremen at the clam and was able to show Mrs. Bag-ley Bag-ley many places of interest. Members of the La-So club were delightfully entertained at the home of Mrs. Bill Fullmer, Wednesday. Mrs. Kenneth Beard-all Beard-all was a. special guest. Thursday, accompanied by Mrs. Alton Packard, they visited interesting inter-esting places in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Giles of Buhl, Idaho, were recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Agnes McKee, en route to California to visit their daughter. Mrs. Ed Brayles and two sons, Eddie -and Harold and daughter Freda, have returned to their home in Antonoto, Colo., following follow-ing a delightful holiday with the former's sister, Mrs. Leonard Niel-son Niel-son in this city. Mrs. Nielson accompanied ac-companied them to Idaho Falls, Idaho, to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Packard, accompanied by Mrs. Hattie Blackett and Mrs. A. Y. Professor Alice Reynolds of the B. Y. U., a sister of Mrs. Martain, was mistress of ceremonies. Mrs. Eugene Hales was in Salt Lake City Wednesday to visit Mr. Hales who is being treated at the clinic there for an injury in-jury to his eye suffered several weeks ago and in which he JtrSt the sight of his eye. The accident acci-dent occurred in northern Idaho, while he was operating motor equipment for a local construction construc-tion company.
