Aiding and abetting in the general gen-eral merriment is suave Adolphe Menjou, cast as the serpent who comes into a Topcka, Kansas, Garden of Eden with some novel ideas on married happiness which he induces gullible Ruggles to 1 try. Charlie does, with results that are almost disastrous to his happy marriage. The climax comes when Charlie turns the tables on Menjou by tricking him into a marriage which clears up the situation for him and Mary, and restores him as the Number One Husband of Topeka. They're the trio who take leading rol-s in J'aramount's film farce, "Three Married Men," coming Tue.-day to the Rivoli theater. The three arc Roscoe Karns, William Fiawley and Lynne Overman, Over-man, and they head a cast including includ-ing Mary Brian, George Earbier and Marjorie Gate-son. Karns, Frawley and Overman have supplied sup-plied the laughs good, hearty laughs for a score of smash Para mount films. Variously, they have put added fun in "Yours for the Asking," "Poppy," "Three Cheers for Love." "Border Flight," and a host of others. This is the first film to feature all three in top positions. For her first appearance in a dramatic role since she has appeared ap-peared on the screen, Mary Boland w-ill be seen next Thursday at the Rivoli theater in a powerful drama laid on the waterfront of a California Cali-fornia town. It is "A Son Comes Home." directed by E. A. Dupont, the story of a prodigal son who put his mother on the spot. Miss Boland plays the part of the proprietress of a Chowder House, and is known as "the angel of the wharves." Fifteen yea 15 before the story opens, her son has run away.
