Show Local t . A talk on "The Life of the Master," by William T. Tew Jr., featured the Fourth ward Relief Re-lief society Tuesday afternoon, with music accompaniment' by Mrs. Ellen Anderson. Th city council piano co appoint a committee to invest.gate probable prob-able reservoir sites in canyons east of town with a view of conserving con-serving water for the coming year. The federal housing program was explained by pictures and records to Kiwanis club members last Thursday under direction of David V. Cannon and H. C. Kinky. Mrs. Mary Bradford and Mrs. Mary Bird gave music. Harrison Conover Con-over was toastmaster. The First ward will present a Religious Pageaot under direction direc-tion of the genealogical society and Sunday school, at 7:30 p. m. Saturday. The entertainment is a part of the budget program and is in charge of Harvey Hutchinson. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Thorpe visited vis-ited relatives and friends in Salt Lake Thursday. Each class in the First ward M. I. A. held a social Tuesday night the occasion being M. I. A. open night. Morris Thorpe, 20, underwent a major operation at the Dr. Gejrge A. Anderson hospital .Tuesday. He is reported doing well. |
