Show J MAPLETON THORA WHITING Mr. and Mrs. John I. Holley entertained en-tertained some friends from Castle Gate at a dinner given in their home, Sunday. The guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Battiste, and small daughters, Ileen and Merlin, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Houghton Hough-ton and daughter, Loris. They spent the day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Holley and family. Miss Mary Leroy returned last Wednesday from a mission to the Eastern States. Sunday night she spoke on the interesting experiences experi-ences she had while on her mis- sion. Other parts on the program of the Mutual conjoint were: A trio composed of Miss Grace Hoi-, ley, Miss Naomi Tew, and Perry Hoiley, a reading by Mrs. Vera Stoker, a duet by Miss Ella Snow and Miss Ruth Whitney. A stoi-y by Mrs. Olive Whiting, and a duet by Miss Thora Whiting and Max Mendenhall. A large crowd attended. Earl Reynolds recently, returned to his home from Cedar City, where he has been working in a, garage. ... " '.V |
