Show John Holley Elected Mapleton President 'j John Holley was elected to the position of town president of Mapleton during the election Tuesday. Tues-day. He polled 112 votes to his opponent, Willis E. Harmer's 37. Burton E. Tew, retiring town president, with 122 votes was elected a trustee, with Leo Har-rner Har-rner also elected on 88 votes. These ' men represented the Taxpayers p-arty. In the race for the third trustee, Welby Warren of the Citizens's party polled 77 votes while Reed Hales and Oscar Whiting of the Taxpayers received 76 votes each. A recount of the ballots will be made to determine if possible who will be the fourth member of the I board of trustees. Others up ; for office were Freeman C.
