Show CHILDREN PLAN PARADE HERE Concluding the recreational activities for ' the children this week, a miniature parade is planned plan-ned for Friday afternoon, under the direction of Directors Dona Snell and Mrs. Eugene Palfrey-man. Palfrey-man. The children are asked to be at the park with their entries promptly at 1 p. m. The parade will begin at 2 o'clock. Parents are invited to attend. In addition to the parade, there will be bicycle and roller skating contests for the children, all of whom, whether or not they have enrolled in the recreation work. All are asked to join in the parade par-ade and the contests. The children's recreational activity ac-tivity is proving especially popular popu-lar with an average attendance of more than a hundred Children. They are especially interested in the handiwork activity and thfy have made a' number tf " lovely baskets and other articles from the handicraft instructions. The sand pile also attracts the interest inter-est of the younger children. Parents are invited to visit the playgrounds , at any time and to cooperate with the leaders in sending the children for the supervised su-pervised play periods. .The activities for the children, from 3 to 12 years and the time is from 1 to 6 p. m., daily except Saturday and Sunday. |
