Show HATFIELD NAMED 1 KIWANISPREXY SAN FRANCISCO, June 29 (HE) s -H. G. Hatfield of Oklahoma City was nominated today for the presidency presi-dency of Kiwanis International. His nomination was unopposed. ' Bennett O- Knudson, Albert Lea, Minn., was nominated for the office of American vice president Samuel F. Clabaugh, Birming-1 Birming-1 ham, Ala., and Cao Harold Hip- pier, Eustice, Fla., were contest-ants contest-ants for treasurer. I The presidential nominee is now treasurer of Kiwanis International. Interna-tional. Church membership in America is on the increase, W". H. Reeder. of Ogden, Utah, chairman of the committee on spiritual aims, said m a statement to the convention. Reeder announced that inter-de-iiominational community meetings tvill be sponsored by Kiwanis clubs, with Protestant, Gatholic jnd Jewish laymen as speakers. |
