They , plan to drive a new cai home. j . j The annual "Ag" club ball at Memorial hall Wednesday night, was one of the most successful events of its kind this season. The affair was under the direction of President Bert Cherrington and Instructor V. H. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Don gall of this City left the past week to spend the Thanksgiving' holidays with their daughter, Mrs. Wyman Wills and family at Los Angeles. California. In honor of Miss Maryn Smart a bride of the past week, a number of friends, including Mrs. Electa Cox, Miss LaDean Harker, Miss Verl Davis, and if iss Dorothy Evans entertained at a miscellaneous miscel-laneous shower last Wednesday night, at the home of Mrs. W. Mrs. Floss Cates delightfully entertained en-tertained members of the Fidelity ; Bridge club at her home Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Luncheon was served early in' the evening followed by bridge. High score prize lor the games went to Mrs. Rose Roylance and Mrs. Ann Johnson received second high. The party was attended at-tended by six club members and Mrs. Retta Kelley and Miss Clarice Cates as special guests. The next club party will be held December 2, at the borne of Mrs. Faye Cran-mer. Lela Packard will be hostess host-ess to members of the Ladies' Literary Lit-erary club at her home Thursday evening December 3. Bishop Andrew Jensen Jen-sen of. the Bonneville' ward officiated of-ficiated at the ceremony which was performed at 7 o'clock in the presence of immediate family members. The bride wore a lovely gown of white net over s;itin, with satin trimmings and a beautiful corsage of pink rose buds 5nd sweet peas. Immediately after the ceremony a wedding" dinner was served. Members of the Mothers Study club were pleasantly entertained hist Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Wayne Johnson. The program featured a review of the book, "The Rock," given by Miss Geraldine Eggertson. A cornet solo was given by Jay Robinson Rob-inson and a cornet duet was by Jay Robinson and Eli Tippetts. A tasty luncheon was served by the hostess to about 25 members and guests. President Maude Thorn was in charge of the meeting and during . the afternoon Mrs. G. L. Barron of the Home Culture club spoke on a proposed movement to provide a rest room at the high school for girls. Mr. and Mrs. Oris Packard and son of Reno, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Packard of Richfield', and Mr. and Mrs. Alton Harker and children were . the Thanksgiving holiday guests ot" their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Packard. The Boosters club held their annual Thanksgiving party at the home of Miss Enid Pennington Monday evening.
