Show Kiwanis Club To Sponsor Comedy, "Casey's Trial" "Casey's Trial," a screamingly funny 2-act farce comedy will be presented in the high school auditorium Thursday and Friday nights, January 10 and 11 under the auspices of the Kiwanis club. The purpose of the show is for the benefit of the art project. One hundred prominent local people will take part in "Casey's Trial." The cast is being chosen and first rehearsal was called last evening. The first act is a breach of promise trial in the days of the gay 90's in which an old maid is sueing Dennis Casey, the real- -estate man for $50,000. The jury renders such a severe sentence that Casey suddenly decides to marry the girl. The second act is the scene of the wedding in the bride's home. A group of square dancers liven up the situation considerably when things threaten to become serious. ser-ious. Several colorful choruses will appear between acts as well as other local talent.
