Show WOCBTJ 1 Mjvbvs The Fourth Ward Beehive class under the direction of Miss Melba Miller, enjoyed a delightful misfit mis-fit party last Friday night, at the home of Miss Louise Childs. Each class member came costumed in clever and unique attire adding much to the spirit of the party. A delicious pot luck lunch was also enjoyed, together with games, songs and stunts. Those present were Louise Childs, Valenna Jones, Carol Blackett, Marion Taylor, Norma Gustin, Catherine Holley, . Ramona Brown, June Blackett, Larene Maag, Mrs. Bell Childs, who- assisted with the party and Miss Miller, teacher. Old Friends' club members were guests of Mrs. Vanza Mann at Keeleys Friday night. Following a tasty lunch, cards were enjoyed with prizes won by Mrs. Reta Kel-ley Kel-ley and Mrs. Thelma cherrington. It was the latter's birthday and she was the recipient of lovely handkerchiefs presented by the club members. Attending were Mrs. Muriel Robertson, Mrs. Thelma Thel-ma Clark, Mrs. Leola Ewing, Mrs. Reta Kelley, Mrs. Thelma Cherrington, Cher-rington, Mrs. Lillie Hume, Mrs. Odessa Childs, Mrs. Art Cranmer, Mrs. Catherine Russell, Mrs. Gertrude Ger-trude Clements and Mrs. Condie Crandall, the latter being a guest. Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp Aaron Johnson and Camp Kolob, the latter recently organized, organ-ized, will meet Thursday afternoon, after-noon, at the home of Mrs. Emma Gottfredson. An excellent program pro-gram is arranged for the occasion and all members are urged to attend. Members of the S. T. club will be guests of Mrs. Manilla Brown, Monday night, the meeting hav- ing been postponed from Mnurs-day Mnurs-day evening. Ad' Libitum club members were guests of Miss Marie Clegg at her home Monday evening. Following a delicious luncheon, the group enjoyed bridge with high score prize awarded to Mrs. Helen Rowland. Others in attendance were Miss Bernice Jensen, Miss Margaret Pierce, Mrs. Hortense Harward, Miss Elaine Crandall, Miss Naomi Sumsion, Miss Afton Bringhurst, Miss Lola Smith, Miss Betty Boyer and Miss Wanda Stewart. Members of the Mothers' Study club will be entertained Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Will Parry, with Mrs. Emma Long as hostess. All members are urged to be present. |
