Parmley and Mrs. Lillian Parmley of Salt Lake City, were visitors here Tuesday with relatives, They came especially to visit with Charles Whiting and Mrs. Sadie Whiting, who are ill. An Easter party was held in Maple canyon Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen entertained en-tertained at a dinner at their home Sunday afternoon in honor of their son, Paul, and M. F. Miner, whose birthdays occurred that day. Mrs. E. J. Carrick. Mrs. Reece Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. Whit-ing. She came here to take care of her mother, who was severely burned Tuesday afternoon. - Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bird, and Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Mackley enjoyed , an Easter luncheon at Oak Springs Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Fern Whitney was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walden Hurst Sunday. A birthday dinner was given in honor of Mrs. Paul Thorn of Springville Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Harmer. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnson and son of Price; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harmer Har-mer and son of Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller and Paul Thorn of Springville; Louis Johnson John-son of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hales, John Johnson, the guest of honor, and the host and hostess.
