Bids include building of the dam itself, railroad relocation from the damsite to Charleston, and highway detour. In the dam will go 2,700,000 cubic yards of earth and the bulk of 18.000 cubic yards of concrete. Steel reinforcement will weigh 1,910,000 pounds. Contractors furnish labor and supervision with the U. S. put-chasing put-chasing most of the material. |
